Present Planner III. Duties include rezonings, land use plan amendments, EAR-based amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, South End Special Area Plan, population projections, zoning and land use information, serving on the Local Mitigation Strategy Committee, land development code amendments, and other projects as directed.

Senior Planner in Current Planning Division. Duties included reviewing site plans and plats, processing Conditional Use applications, serving on the Development Review Committee, zoning and land use information, and other projects as directed.

Principal Planner in charge of the DRI Division. Duties included review of Developments of Regional Impact submittals and resubmittals, review of substantial deviations to DRI’s, determinations of substantial deviations to DRI’s, review of population projections as they relate to DRI’s, and other projects as directed.

Principal Planner in charge of the Current Planning Division. Duties included supervising 2 persons directly and overseeing the supervision of 2 others. Duties also included rezonings, comprehensive plan amendments, land use plan amendments, vesting determinations, population projections, project planner for the development of a unified land development code, zoning and land use interpretations, zoning and land use information, and other projects as directed.

Senior Planner in Long-Range Planning Division. Duties include comprehensive plan amendments, land use plan amendments, rezonings, annexations, population projections, research projects, and other projects as directed. Completed 7 of the 9 elements for the City's EAR and supervised consultants on the other two EAR elements. Worked on updating the City's Comprehensive Plan based on the EAR submittal. EAR received a Certificate of Merit award from the Florida Planning and Zoning Association.

Planner in Long-Range Planning Division. Duties include comprehensive plan amendments, comprehensive development code amendments, land use plan amendments, site plan review, hardship relief review, vacation of right-of-way/easements, population projections, maintaining land use and housing unit data bases, transportation concurrency determinations, research projects, and other projects as directed. Worked on developing the City's Post-Disaster Redevelopment Plan and the EAR update to the Comprehensive Plan. Completed a two-week International Exchange with a planner in the United Kingdom through APA's International Division and the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Planner I. Duties included the following reviews: site plans, variances, conditional uses, and vacation of right-of-way/easements. Other duties included: approving the zoning for occupational license requests, researching non-conforming lot of record opinions, keeping zoning and land use maps updated, zoning interpretations, zoning information, enforcing zoning regulations and other code enforcement activities, answering complaints from residents, and representing the City on the Metropolitan Planning Organization's Technical Coordinating Committee. Also responsible for presenting applications to the Board of Adjustment, the Historic Preservation Board, and sharing duties presenting applications to the Planning Board. Published an article in Florida Planning Newsletter and APA's Mountains and Shores Newsletter on hurricane mitigation. Served on the Countywide Sign Ordinance Task Force.
